Tue, July 8, 2008 (1:35am EDT) Japan Hunks Latest News Kanjani8 2 members will held solo concerts Popular group Kanjani8 performed at the Tokyo Dome on Monday as part of their current nationwide tour. During the show, they announced that members Subaru Shibutani and Tadayoshi Okura will be holding solo concerts later this year. Shibutani's concerts will take place at the Umeda Arts Theater in Osaka on September 4-7, and at the special Johnnys Theater in Odaiba, Tokyo, from September 23 to October 6. Arashi member Sho Sakurai has fractured his right thumb, it was learned on Sunday.

The group had been rehearsing on Sunday for a concert at Nagoya Dome when Sakurai accidentally fell from the stage. His hand was injured, and practice was halted so that he could be taken to the hospital. He later returned with his thumb immobilized, but he still performed with the group during the concert later that day. Sakurai admitted his injury to the audience, saying that it was the first time he had experienced a broken bone.
